Valdosta Orthodox Christian Mission was established by a group of Orthodox Christians with a desire to provide our community access to Orthodox worship. Seeing the need, Archbishop Dmitri (OCA- Diocese of the South) and Fr. Ted Pisarchuk (the missions and evangelism director of our diocese) gave us their blessing to hold readers services while exploring the possibility of establishing an official Orthodox Mission in Valdosta, GA.

On the weekend of August 19, 2006 our first Great Vespers and our first Divine Liturgy were served with Fr. Sergius Clark from Jacksonville, FL.  These services are now held done on a monthly basis as scheduling allows. 

Our worship services are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 3501 Bemiss Road. See the NEWS section of our website for information about our newly acquired worship space.

We will do all we can to make you feel welome, and there will be no pressure on you to join the Orthodox Church. We encourage you to bring your children. It is a blessing to see them take part in the worship of the All Holy Trinity.
